Needless to say the party was a blast! Everything turned out beautifully. Big-ups to Tasha, Tiff, Tigg, Will, Momma Bev, Momma Petrice, Nee-Nee, Lania, Chrissy, Charmain and Lina for all of their efforts. Kisha and I really appreciate it!! We'd also like to thank all of our guests who came out and celebrated with us and many more thanks for all the wonderful gifts we received. Dirty Flirty 30's here we come!

Important Notification of change in Venue

It's now the end of the first week in February and after a week of panic, stress and lots of frustration, we lucked up on Superbowl sunday and found the perfect spot.

Tessera Gallery in Oakland is the new location. Notifications of this change will be sent this week to all of our guests.

Black Attire Only ~ not blue, pink or any other color...

So... there have been numerous questions asked in regards to the dress code. It's not that hard guys :) The attire is all black, not blue, purple, red, pink or any other color!!! We want to keep the dress code interesting. It's not often that you get to dress up for a special event such as ours and we would really like to keep guests dressed to match our theme. There will be lots of pics taken that night AND you only turn 30 once so let's make it special. If you want to accessorize however, silver, gold, white and gray is ok. Here are some examples of what would be appropriate.

The Perfect Venue.......Or Not ~

After months of searching for the perfect venue, Las Vegas, San Francisco, and Oakland, Alameda was for sure the best spot or maybe not. 30 days before our 30th birthday bash, 150 invitations sent, 72 RSVP's and a cancelled venue.

Well the invitations were NOT as easy as we thought they would be, but we managed to buy too much cardstock, not enough ribbon, 3 trips to Joann's fabric in one day, and 10 invitations discarded due to a little yellow stuff from our furry friend Sassie Diva!!! But here they are and are on their way to you. Please don't forget to RSVP with names of your guest if any. Hope to hear from you soon!

Cake Tasting.. check!

All I can say is mmm mmm good. Simply Homemade Cakes will be making our 30 and flirty birthday cake. Wait till you see it! It will definitely taste as good as it's going to look.

Save The Date

Kisha and I had a blast creating our save the date invites. It took all of two days, a room full of feathers and a little help from Nee-Nee. Hopefully the invitations won't be too complicated.
