Cake Tasting.. check!

All I can say is mmm mmm good. Simply Homemade Cakes will be making our 30 and flirty birthday cake. Wait till you see it! It will definitely taste as good as it's going to look.

Save The Date

Kisha and I had a blast creating our save the date invites. It took all of two days, a room full of feathers and a little help from Nee-Nee. Hopefully the invitations won't be too complicated.

Hot Pink and hints of Zebra print screams "girls just want to have fun" and what a perfect way to incorporate it into a theme for our party. Our guests will be wowed by what's in store for them upon their arrival and they can expect, a fun, classy and extravagant event.

29 and counting...

It’s been a year and some odd months and the big day is just moments away. Kisha and I decided to create a blog as a way to keep our friends and family up to date on our progress throughout this long anticipated journey. Who said planning our 30th birthday party was going to be easy? My event planning dream will be put on hold for now since I will need a long vacation after we’re done. Needless to say, we are both very excited about entering a new chapter of our lives and embracing our continuous growth into mature young old "30's is not the new 20's" women and most importantly excited about celebrating this special day with the people we adore the most.
